Our Art Docents came in to teach us about Henri Matisse. We observed his painting, The Purple Robe. Then we used oil pastels and water color paint to create a vase using patterns, lines and color just like Matisse!
How fun to get to use oil pastels & water colors just like real artists! All the vases like they could go right back into Matisse's painting. Can't wait to see the next project!
I like these paintings! They are all so different, but they look good together in a row.
